Serious Temper Tantrum

Police arrest man, 50, after three-hour siege in Central London office

Earlier today, a 50 year-old man was arrested after a three-hour long disturbance in an office building on Tottenham Court Road. The police cordoned off an area of 300-meter around the building after it was made public that the man had strapped gas canisters to his body and was threatening to blow everybody up. The man was also throwing a number of large things out of the window and onto the street below. Among the items were filing cabinets, computer monitors, TVs and keyboards. The man had failed a HGV training course, that the office he went into provided, and wanted his money back.

Well, when I read this, my first thought was; 'This is seriously the biggest and most ridiculous temper tantrum in history. So, he failed his HGV training course. What is the big deal?!' He can simply retake it another time. There was no reason for him to go ballistic. If you fail something you don't have to strap gas canisters to your body and threaten to blow yourself and others up, right? So what if you failed and don't get your money back, you paid to do the course, that is what you pay for. Guy needs to think like a normal person.

In for LIFE!

Gang who shot and paralyzed Thusha caged for 'life'

Three gang members, who started shooting in a shop while hunting down a rival gang member, were convicted and will serve a 'life' sentence. The gunman, Nathaniel Grant, 21, shot down, the 5 year-old Thusha Kamaleswaran, leaving her paralyzed and fighting for her life. The little girl had not one, but two heart attacks while paramedics were trying to save her. But Thusha was not the only innocent that was shot, Roshan Selvakumar, age 35, still has bullet fragments lodged in his skull. Grant and his two lieutenants showed no remorse for shooting Thusha or Roshan. Grant will serve a prison sentence of at least 17 years, while his lieutenants will serve at least 14.

I am honestly disgusted by these men, not only do they start shooting in a SHOP, they don't seem to feel any remorse for their actions! They don't feel anything about having shot an innocent little FIVE YEAR-OLD!!! They don't care that she had two heart attacks while the paramedics tried to save her life, that she is now paralyzed, or that an innocent man now has bullet fragments in his head. Personally I think that their sentence is too short, they deserve worse in my eyes I mean a little girl is now paralyzed, and most likely traumatized. They deserve a real life sentence, not 17 or 14 years.

Fishing for Wallabies

Escaped wallaby caught using huge fishing net

The brand new owner of two Tasmanian wallabies ended up getting quite a scare Wednesday, when his two new wallabies, after being let loose on one of his three acre islands, decided to make a bid for freedom.
After less than six hours after releasing them on the island, the two wallabies were found swimming away from what was to be their new home. He'd been told wallabies couldn't swim, which is why he decided to keep them on the island without extra measures to prevent them from escaping. The first was captured easily, the second, not so much. He was eventually captured with a huge fishing net.

-------------------------------------------

I thought is was really cute when I read this article. Two small wallabies that were just brought to their new home by their new owner, and they decided they want to go for a refreshing swim. It is of course sad for the owner who got the crap scared out of him when they swam away to freedom. And it's a bit strange that the wallabies were able to swim when the man that sold them didn't know that... But accidents can happen, I think. It is kind of funny to imagine that a wallaby is captured with a huge fishing net.
