Earlier today, a 50 year-old man was arrested after a three-hour long disturbance in an office building on Tottenham Court Road. The police cordoned off an area of 300-meter around the building after it was made public that the man had strapped gas canisters to his body and was threatening to blow everybody up. The man was also throwing a number of large things out of the window and onto the street below. Among the items were filing cabinets, computer monitors, TVs and keyboards. The man had failed a HGV training course, that the office he went into provided, and wanted his money back.

Well, when I read this, my first thought was; 'This is seriously the biggest and most ridiculous temper tantrum in history. So, he failed his HGV training course. What is the big deal?!' He can simply retake it another time. There was no reason for him to go ballistic. If you fail something you don't have to strap gas canisters to your body and threaten to blow yourself and others up, right? So what if you failed and don't get your money back, you paid to do the course, that is what you pay for. Guy needs to think like a normal person.
If I fail this year, I will certainly be disappointed, but throw a tantrum like this? I find it rather pathetic. You cannot ask your money back after you failed an exam?
